We were taking a stroll in Ueno Park when we were in Tokyo last December. Ueno Park is the first park with a zoo, art museums, ponds and temples. It’s beautiful even in winter with a mixture of autumn hues and winter barrenness. I read that it’s gorgeous during cherry blossom. It’s one of the popular spot for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). I hope I get to see it some day.
