So remember that sleeveless sweater from the last photo? This is where the sleeves ended up! I upcycled them into legwarmers and I love the way they turned out, don’t you?
To do it yourself, pick up a long sleeve sweater from your local thrift and carefully snip off the sleeves along the armhole seamlines (try not to cut any of the yarns other than the ones that are attaching the sleeve to the body… you could have a messy unravel situation on your hannds). If they are too loose, just take them in along the seamline with the sewing machine and VOILA! They also look swell bunched around the ankles. (photo: Laura Kicey ~ model: Courtney Bergey).
