I was absolutely unprepared to this weekend massive snowfall (I was already transitioning to springy-floral mode) so I found myself in ankle boots, suddenly sinking into ten inches of snow…fortunately Chie Mihara knows how to make shoes so they kept my feet unbelievably dry and warm all day!
The 50s bag is another little treasure from Alf’s mom closet. It looks tiny but I can fit the whole world into it, in fact that’s where I was keeping my camera that day! The leather gloves are vintage too, I love their color and they’re super soft inside. I’m always amazed at how accessories were made so well in the past: both things are very sturdy and still look brand new after so many decades.
And last but not least, the coat I’m wearing is from Orla Kiely, hands up the warmest coat I’ve ever worn and my lucky find of these winter sales.
