The sudden emergence of color-blocked patterned pieces has got me smiling. A great way to turn a casual outfit into a statement ensemble, it is a must-do trend. Thus, when I got my hands on this primary-hued striped cape, for under half its original price, I could not wait to style it into my wardrobe. Making it the focus of my outfit, I accented it with some complementing bold bangles. To tie the look together I added neutral accessories, my particular favorite being my over-sized American Apparel Carry-All Pouch.
