I saw this fabric and completely fell in love! It is 100% Mud Silk which means its silk that is dyed in a very unique & organic way. Once the silk fabric is ready to be finished, it is dyed with natural resources such as roots, grass and vegetable/berry juices then washed several times with ironbearing mud, a process that takes four weeks. The fabric is then laid out on the ground for a week where light rays from the sun and moon set the doublesided dyeing process!
I felt draping this fabric into grecian style maxi dresses would flow as beautiful as its story! We tied a soft rope belt through the arm holes and tied it at the front to have the back flow nicely :) So many ways to style it!
