Back to Black

Another overdue photo! Bear with me please because I’m going to be posting a bunch of entries all at once. Christmas season was enjoyable but it was especially hectic for me this year so sorry if I’ve only gotten around to posting photos now. :)

I wore this to an evening out with my friends in Members Only. The place has an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance so I chose to steer away from my typical choice of colorful dresses and decided to wear black. I’ve had this top with me for almost three years. I got it during my last trip to California, and I’m so glad that I finally found the right time to wear it! I paired it with this black satin pencil skirt from Topshop. The front part of the skirt has diagonal pleats although you can’t really see them in this photo. I also carried my new Tyler clutch for the first time. I absolutely love it! It’s plain black with a giant bow. Super cute! Check it out in the second photo. I couldn’t resist packing a little punch in my outfit by wearing my chunky black gladiator heels to break the monotony. :)
