I was gifted this incredible tartan dress from Republic, as part of the monthly guest blogging I’m doing for them, which you can read here .

At first I wasn’t too sure about this dress, which was inspired by the tartan Alexander McQueen number that Rihanna wore on the X Factor last November. I’m not normally overly girly with my fashion sense, and prefer to keep things a bit quirky, so I was worried I’d end up looking too much like I’d just walked out of “St. Trinians”!! However, with some help from my trusty bowler hat and leather, and some rocker-esque accessorising, I gave the school-girl look a bit of a rocker edge and now I actually like it a lot!! What do you think?
