I drove up to Elberton, GA a few weekends ago to meet up with my amazing photographer friend, A.J. Coley, who helped me do a mini photo shoot. For those of you wondering where Elberton is, it is a two and a half hour drive from Atlanta and fifteen minutes from the South Carolina border.
For the photos, I wanted to have a great background while playing upon my androgynous features. Finding a great setting for the shoot was definitely the easiest part of the process as there were lakes, fields of tall grass, abandoned farm houses, and several hundred acres of trees. I guess living in the middle of nowhere does have its perks.
Choosing what to wear
Finding an outfit wasn’t too difficult since I had actually packed half my closet in a suitcase before I left home. I knew that I definitely wanted to stay within lighter colors since I’m always wearing black. I’m quite satisfied with what I chose.
What I’m Wearing
Marc by Marc Jacobs Shorts
Club Monaco Crème colored Tank
Dolce Vita Wedges
Overall, I love how the photos turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Also, if you want to check out my friend’s photography,
