Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my previous post and my first diy tights! I have never done anything myself before but your positive feedback make me feeling confident to experiment much more, try and learn by doing. I’m even planning to attend a sewing course :o)
I hope you spent a nice Christmas yesterday. I celebrated as always with my relatives. We had lunch all together and chatted a lot since we don’t see each other a lot during the year.
I got nice presents too: lots of vintage stuff expecially from my mum who knows how much I love it! I think it will take a little to show you everything, hehe.
I start with this outfit I wore for the relatives’ lunch. This is one of the dresses I got from my mum. I love its pleating and the voile part on the shoulders. I paired it with a shirt and inwrought tights to make it looking a little bit more casual.
The other accessories are basic pieces, because I wanted the dress to stand out and the ensamble to look effortless chic.
It was funny to see my relatives’ comments about the outfit: the sweetest one was my grandmum who stared at me for five minutes telling me how lovely I was, how everything was well matched and how feminine I looked!! :o)
