Winter is at that beautiful time where it’s not too frigid, and not too mild. I love going outside to deeply breathe in the sweet, snowy air. On Christmas Eve night I was sitting up talking with my mom and my oldest sister, and the sky was painted with countless silvery stars, there was a fresh blanket of snow on the ground, and the air smelled and felt indescribable. I couldn’t help but go out and dance around in it as I looked up at the stars. To me, there’s always been a certain time during all the seasons where the air is different in the most lovely way possible.
I got this scarf when I was out shopping the other day, and I love how long and chunky it is. I got it at Charlotte Russe, where I was trying to use up $5 that was left on a giftcard, and I was ready to give up since I couldn’t find anything. But then I spotted a table of scarves and found this beauty buried beneath a pile of sparkly purple ones. I love it.
Enjoy the final days of 2011!
