We were going to take the bikes into the city but I fell asleep in front of the telly when I was watching ‘My fair lady’ & didn’t wake up again until ‘Oklahoma!’ was on around two in the afternoon…Oops!
So we took a walk in the park instead feeding the ducks, geese, swans & coots.
The park was surprisingly animated for Xmas day but I suppose it’s because there is a large chunk of Londoners that do not actually celebrate Xmas & failing to find much else to distract them, when most things are closed, a walk in the park must seem like a very good option.
It’s also nice even if you do celebrate Xmas, just to walk off some of the excess calories consumed.
In honour of the day I decided to dress almost exclusively in red & green…part Xmas tree, part leprechaun & part Xmas elf!
This is what I wore today:
Vintage 60s corduroy coat (market) Sami folk art spoon brooch (tradera) Red stretch dress (charity shop) Kermit green tights (market) Red leather boots (Barratts) Hand made vintage wall hanging worn as belt (myrorna) Faux pearl strands & beads (IKEA Xmas tree decorations & pressie from my mom) Fingerless gloves (pressie) DIY headdress (made myself from £1 Xmas decorations mounted on an alice band)
xXx
