It’s always the most difficult part of the day – getting dressed. I can only imagine how ridiculous I look standing next to my 12-foot long walk-in closet, telling myself, “I don’t have anything to wear.”
Sometimes, too many clothes means too many options, and for an indecisive girl like me, that’s a major (first-world) problem.
Today was a day I made it a bit easier on myself and started with the essential accessory of all – my shoes.
Miu Miu is the quintessential girly girl’s brand – from the prints to the cuts to the color palette, Miuccia Prada has almost perfected the art of subtle feminine chic. It’s cute and playful and 20th-century Barbie without the tutu, plastic or botched Ken doll.
Borrowing from the essence of the brand, I went with simple, blush-neutral colors and chose a romantic Ben Sherman sheer blouse and high-waisted blush Forever 21 shorts. A touch of sparkle came from the rings and bracelets, and the printed socks? Those were sitting in my closet, and they were simply too adorable to hide unfairly behind pants or boots.
