My mother and I were arguing about winter boots: She wanted to buy me a pair of sensible (read:ugly) ones and I told her that I simply wouldn’t wear them. This is rather silly on my part, I do realize that, but you should see the footwear of choice for teenagers at my school. I simply could not succumb. So instead she surprised me with these beauties: they are lovely and warm, ridiculously comfortable, and actually have traction on the bottom! What more could a girl ask for??
