tassiaforty 's Thoughts:

My birthday outfit. Since I’m such a sucker for tutu skirts and dresses, I decided to wear this. Never mind that it’s a little overdressed for reviewing in the library but hey, it’s my birthday (and even if it weren’t I would still dress up haha). I’m not used to wearing cream r white-colored dresses and skirts so I decided to toughen up the look by adding this military blazer.

There’s an interesting story behind my dress: I got it for free from a thrift store. Haha can you believe it? I can’t either…and the dress is so amazing it even looks new. It has little rosettes on the chest area and layers of tulle on the skirt part. A few months back, I was at the thrift store, about to pay for my purchases when the store owner notice a minor stain on the inner lining of the dress, a stain so minor that it can easily be removed by detergent so she gave it to me. Imagine my joy! This dress is quite a steal!!!=) But of course, I didn’t show the store owner how delighted and thrilled I was…though I think it showed when I thanked her giddily haha

Now to the most interesting part….the shoes are LOML’S gift to me=) I love lovelove these shoes sooooo much! Perfect for the bipolar weather here in the Philippines (since I don’t like getting my shoes wet) and perfect for walking around since these babies are so comfy. Thank you, LOML!=)

P.S. Excuse the haggard look as I was busy studying for the first Sunday of the bar exams when this photo was taken.
