Cobalt is an imperial colour. It conjures images of peacocks, Persia, and deep Aegean seas. Wearing this skirt feels like I have skimmed the surface of the ocean and draped it around my waist. I just love it! Honestly, it is rare that I enjoy the sensation of clothing on the skin. I find most things constricting and somewhat claustrophobic. I was so lucky to find this skirt on eBay – I had no idea how wonderful it would feel when I bought it. As for this Kain tee – I would live in it if I could. The thing feels like butterfly kisses from a baby Kashmir goat.
I also never knew I would be one to try colour blocking – I’m not neat enough for all those clean lines. But here we are! About as close as I’m ever going to get.
