As warm as saxophones and honey in the sun for you

This was what I wore to our school’s graduation concert. We were sort of required to not-wear-jeans or even a t-shirt but I broke their rule anyway. I knew I was gonna be surrounded with a sea of slacks and pencil skirts, and it has never been my style. I just didn’t want to wear something I wasn’t happy with or comfortable wearing. I also wanted to show to them that I can spice up a simple pair of jeans and basic shirt and work around it for a more semi-formal occasion.
