Named after the Ill Made Knight in the Arthurian Legend, The Once and Future King, Rebecca Schiffman’s IMK line of chainmaille jewelry is at once hard and soft-strong and delicate. Inspired by a quite visceral experience involving a metal bra in a sex shop (have I mentioned that Rebecca Schiffman is quite the chill beezie?), Schiffman combines European, Persian and Japanese armor techniques with rubber and glass drops to her line of vests, necklaces and bracelets.

More intense than the Bliss Lau body chains, these chainmaille pieces are great for upping your street cred. Because, come on. What’s more gully than being able to protect yourself from rogue arrows? How handy!
