Everyone knows the first thing you do when entering a shop is to head on over to the sale section. Well, that’s if you’re like me. The item you were lusting after for weeks or months on end might just be on that rack waiting for you to take it home. When it screams any “% off”, how could you resist?
With the holidays in full swing, it gets a bit overwhelming trying to find something for your loved ones and friends – and of course, for you – while still staying on budget. Presents for all the special people in your life can add up if you don’t pay attention. (Unless you already finished most of your shopping on Black Friday, then congratulations are in order.)
I’ve perused both the web as well as brick-and-mortar stores to share with you the best deals and steals I’ve stumbled upon. Obviously, clickety-click on over to Chictopia’s 12 days of Chic for more amazing finds! Best part? These exclusive items are up to 50% off. Who wouldn’t love that?
Robot $14.95 (regular $19.95), CB2
While there are tons of ridiculously technologically advanced robot toys at ridiculously high prices, sometimes old-school robots made from recycled materials are more charming. This caught my eye and there are a few men in my life (dad, brother, bf) who would certainly appreciate something unique. It’s a great juxtaposition between all of their gizmos and gadgets. Something old, but still new. Here’s hoping my dad, brother, and bf don’t see this!
Oliver Appetizer Plates $2.95 each, CB2
These plates will surely bring a smile to your/gift receiver’s face. How cute are these guys? They’d make for great conversation pieces. Or you can just watch someone attempt to scrape off the Swiss cheese or pick up the jalapenos while they wonder why it isn’t working. Yes, I’ve seen this happen and yes, it is simply hilarious! The martini glasses are just as adorable.
Sephora by OPI# 18 piece nail color set $48, Sephora
Eighteen the year’s best-selling polishes from Sephora. Couldn’t make up your mind as to what color to get? With this set of mini polishes, you don’t have to pick and choose. You can wear a different shade on each finger and toe (there’d be a repeat of two colors – perhaps wear them on the thumbs and on the big toe.) This is such a great gift set that the receiver might even let you borrow a few!
Salvatore Ferragamo Silk Scarf $73.50, The Outnet
A bit of luxe for your super chic mom or best friend and you. There’s a pink silk-chiffon option as well, so as the saying goes, “one for you and one for me.” Although the product description says it would be “perfect for tying around the handle of your handbag,” I’m pretty sure with this discount, you can have one for your bag and your neck.
