‘ve been pretty excited about this skirt every since I found it in my Mum’s wardrobe. I even wore it to a wedding a few weeks ago. It used to be my Auntie’s, worn for ballroom dancing and I’ve decided to claim it. I also have the exact same one in white. I wasn’t keen on the structured ruffles at the bottom at first, but they’ve seriously grown on me. This skirt seriously just makes me want to run around like I’m in romantic film. I decided to ruffle up the hem-line at the front and tuck it under my belt to make it into a fish-tail skirt. Revamped from very ’70s to very 2011.
