Sneaked in a few photos of my outfit right before the downpour greeted us here in LA yesterday. Fickle weather – good thing I had brought this two-toned A|X jacket along. I’m really digging it, I feel like it could spruce up any simple piece of clothing and make it appropriate for day or night… my kinda staple item.
This weekend was sort of a whirlwind of things, but at the same time, not really. I felt WAY under the weather late Thursday/early Friday, but luckily for me the sickness (whatever it was caused by) disappeared as quickly and randomly as it had appeared. I’m not feeling exactly one hundred percent, but at least I can actually eat solids and taste my food, and function out of the confines of my bed. Such an exciting Friday and Saturday, let me tell you. Pressing on – as I was magically brought out of my sorry veggie state, the lover boy decided to drag me along in his pilgrimage to the LAX airport. I say ‘pilgrimage’ because we spent what seemed like five thousand years on the road, circling the place, thanks to the inexplicably horrific traffic that defines LA. Delirium ensued, yes. I was almost ready to ask the gods to put me back in my bed.
I’m really bummed I’ll be missing out on the Swarovski Elements event tonight at the Luxe Hotel, but in lighter news, I’ll be posting up a giveaway soon (like really soon). Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! x
