When I wore this outfit to school, my art teacher told me I looked really “80s hip prepster” and that thats always how I dress. I wasn’t sure if I always dress 80s-ish, but if I do thats chill because the 80s rock my world and it’s fun to be retro. I bought some 2 tone tights at the American Apparel warehouse sale for $6 and they would have looked awesome with this outfit if I’d had them when I wore this, and the bus driver even complimented my tights today as I payed for my ticket. It was pretty cool. I love the NICE bus drivers. They literally make my life. I also love Goodwill, because people at Goodwill are just so god damn NICE! It makes me so happy to be around all these nice people who just randomly are nice for no reason and give you a dime when you’re 10 cents short or randomly chat you up about that awesome picture you’re buying or the people who work there who convince you to buy things you don’t really need, because they keep saying “GIRL, this is gonna look so fabulous on you! Don’t you dare back out of a steal like this!” And the other workers who give you thumbs ups when you try on that huge oversized sweater, reassuring you that you look super cool in menswear because you’re just so god damn cool. (I’ve personally went through all these experiences, and they’ve all made me a better person. LEAD BY EXAMPLE IS THE OBVIOUS MESSAGE HERE.
