As tradition, I do whatever my ipod tells me to in the morning and shuffle mode played SHIMMER, one of my all time favorite songs which made me dress extra shimmery today.
What can I say… we chictopians are born to shimmer, born to shine, born to radiate.
Decided to wear a lycra miniskurt with a loose sheer sequined Topshop top that I got on sale and black stockings and of course my favorite LV Epi Speedy and Renegade Folk Strappy Holiday collection shoes.
My shoes matched the sequins of the top perfectly!
Anyway, another busy day made busier than ever by the looming launch coming up. This is it! GLITTERATI will officially be launched this Friday and Nina and I are both so excited and anxious!
I wore this outfit to a meeting with my style soul sister Nina which was preceded by a quick stop to the mall to accompany my guy get a suit for the traditional family 15-course Christmas Eve dinner. Since we always went formal, we decided to go promenade theme this year and dress in totally matchy outfits… his black suit, pink tie piece matched my long candy pink evening gown so perfectly. My brother and his girl did a red gown and red tie black suit combination as well. Prom King and Queen much? THIS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN!!!
I CANNOT WAIT! My sister will be home from Washington DC this holiday season and i so cannot wait until her arrival! Anyway, after suit and tie shopping, I got new corsets (I am hooked on corset tops that can be paired with anything and everything) in white and in black. I also bought a ginham print loose top and new accessories then headed to dinner at HEAVEN and EGGS where it was literally EGG HEAVEN that was the most refreshing comfort food I ever had since my fave French resto in Serendra.
Met up with my friends to do the ocular for Piedra then discussed model line-up, production design and other fashion show details for Friday.
Transferred to Attica in A.venue for my dearest friend Jeckle’s Farewell to Being an Accounting Professor party where we were treated to more booze for free and more reasons to be merry.
Again, I was out the whole day. Busy as a bee. But shimmering nonetheless. See y’all for a Glitterati A-list Friday at Piedra!
