Hey guys! You’ve probably seen those bright golden banners on Chictopia’s front page by now, if you haven’t go read EIU’s article about Chictopia’s Week of Giving. This is our entry to urge you guys to enter, because every single entry to this contest will be counted as $1 toward the winning charity’s donation! Seriously, you’re donating a dollar to an amazing charity all by just doing what Chictopians do best, taking outfit pictures! What could be better?
We’re nominating American Cancer Society! Our picture vaguely represents the charity because Steve Jobs recently passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer, and of course, we’re wearing his signature turtleneck look. (That was a big stretch of photo to charity relation, but we’re sure you guys will do better in your entries!) On a less topical note, when we were trying to decide which charity to nominate for Week of Giving, this one charity stood out as the front runner for us. In high school, we both participated in an amazing Interact Club and one of the major volunteering happenings each year was going to our local American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and raising money for cancer research and awareness. Hopefully with more research, we can prevent the death of great inspirations like Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, and Audrey Hepburn. All of whom provide boundless inspiration for fashion and the future.
Enter the contest here! Because helping people is always chic. :)

OUTFIT DESCRIPTIONS Favorite this picture!
Daniel I bought these pants during fashion week in New York and even though I barely wear brownish neutral shades, this color just stood out to me. I love the cut of the pants though, I sort of wish I had them in black and navy blue! I was going to (of course) wear creepers with this, but Iris enthusiastically supported the white converse.
Iris Daniel actually chose this outfit for me, haha. Both are kinda new, but I’ve worn this turtleneck so much. I basically wear turtlenecks every single day now. I’m obsessed with that trend. Also, I got a hair cut! I’m loving looking like an #18thcenturydutchboy (as Alexa Chung says) mixed with Peppito from Madeline. Hahaha.
