Almost everyone is on holiday mode since for most, school is out. Though school has been out for me since September when I graduated.
Anyway, the only place I’m still allowed to go out to is Rockwell since according to my mom its close to home and since she is still extremely worried about me, I decided not to do anything to make her go into paranoia. All I needed to do was mass and gift basket shopping at the grocery anyway.
And since the day was very laidback, I dressed in neutral shades so make it all fit together. I went for a pale gray sheared tulip dress, nude/ beige accessories (including the beige shoes I got from Renegade Folk the other day) and my favorite vintage bag from my mom’s collection of Nina Ricci. Wore a gray knitted sweater over it and I was good to go and appropriately dressed for the very limited activities of the day. I didn’t want to really put a contrast color that would make the outfit standout since I was looking more for the clean crisp effect of GREIGE (Gray + Beige). The outfit was hella comfy too!!!
I got myself a tube Zipper dress from Mich Araullo who I met back when I still promoted for Embassy that I loved and a classic white button down top a la Mia in Pulp Fiction.
Anyway, a busy week is lurking and I love it.

Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve
‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
You’re a slave to money then you die
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
No change, I can’t change
I can’t change, I can’t change
But I’m here in my mind
I am here in my mind
But I’m a million different people
from one day to the next
I can’t change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no,no,no,no,no,no(fading away)
Well I never pray
But tonight I’m on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there’s nobody singing to me now
No change, I can’t change
I can’t change, I can’t change
But I’m here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I’m a million different people
from one day to the next
I can’t change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I can’t change
I can’t change it
‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
Trying to find some money then you die
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
You know I can’t change, I can’t change
I can’t change, I can’t change
But I’m here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I’m a million different people
from one day to the next
I can’t change my mind
No, no, no, no, no
I can’t change my mind
no, no, no, no, no,
I can’t change
Can’t change my body,
no, no, no
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down
Been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
That you’ve ever been down
That you’ve ever been down
