I always look forward to my birthday because my loving friends and family always make me feel like a queen on my special day :) I had an amazing day! I heard mass in the morning, went to the parlor to have my hair and nails done, then I ate food from my favorite Japanese restaurant (Omakase) for lunch, went shopping and walked around my favorite hangout (Bonifacio High Street) during the afternoon, then ended the day with a delicious buffet dinner at Circles. :) Yay!!
I was saving this dress for a special occasion. I bought it in Coiffeur, this vintage shop in Paris located along Saint-Paul. I remember walking into the shop and instantly spotting it in the hands of another girl, who eventually let it go. The minute she put it down, I picked it up and never let it out of my sight! She didn’t buy it because the stitching in the side was loose but then I figured that I could always have it done back here in Manila. :) I don’t really buy vintage so I was happy to find such a pretty dress! Funny enough, my belt is also made from vintage pieces. I bought it from Le 66, this concept store in Paris. Totally unintentional, yet I loved the whole vintage vibe of my outfit. I’m including close-up pictures of the fabric of my dress and the detail of the belt since you can’t really see them in the main pic :) I don’t have a picture of my shoes, but it’s okay since I injured my toe the day before my birthday so now I can’t wear heels haha! :P
