Pink October

I went to a pink event the other night. It was really great to hear the womens’ personal stories of their victory over cancer whether via natural means or Chemo etc.. they were so inspirational. I found myself sobbing! It was so beautiful! They were so beautiful! I can’t even begin to describe the radiant beauty that was exploding off of them. They were majestic! It’s the only word I can think of that really hits the tone.

On another note, I only really had pink shoes (shocking! I thought I would have at least something else pink) to wear to the event. However, fun fact for those of you who don’t know, Pink originally was called yellow until a mix-up that occurred with the painting Pinkie . So I thought I’d mix the two colors and play off of this theme for the event.

I guess it worked out and the shoes and my pink lips stood out. So pink was the theme!
