As you all know, this September was the first year we’ve ever done the Chictopia Influential Blogger of the Year Award. Chictopia picked a handful of style icons from September 2010 to September 2011 who have been heating things up in the fashion blogger community based on your Facebook likes, retweets, chic votes and favorites throughout 2011. For our first Influential Blogger of the Year Award, there was some really stiff competition—all the bloggers to choose from were amazing and just voting was a challenge in itself!
Well the votes are in! We are happy to announce that the winner of the first-ever Chictopia Influential Blogger of the Year Award is Folake Huntoon of Style Pantry!
Stylish mother of three with amazing curly hair, a bright wardrobe, and the ability to color block with such ease, we’re so happy to announce that Folake is this year’s Chictopia Influential Blogger of the Year winner! We can’t wait to meet her in February for fashion week!
Folake will be jetted to New York to attend NY Fashion Week with Chictopia’s editors, featured on Chictopia’s YouTube channel, the EIU blog, and will also receive $2400 worth of outfits for an entire year! You excited Folake? ;)
We are so happy to be able to show our support to our users who are always supportive and caring of the community. We want to give a BIG thanks to the nominees who are all so supportive of Chictopia and of each other. We appreciate and are humbled by all the love—you guys are ALL amazing in our books (in addition to being funny, chic, stylish AND bad*ss)!
