Before checking out the goods at the River Island Student Night in Antwerp (and going home with two new pairs of pants – yes, you read that correctly: PANTS) I dragged my baby sis over to the Schelde quays to take my picture. We couldn’t resist the golden light of evening sun rippling over the Schelde, but who can? I wish every evening was like this one: warm, bathing in setting sunlight with me in a pretty midi dress :-D
Seriously, how beautiful is this light? I don’t think I have ever posted pics with lighting quite as nice. Also, how gorgeous is this polkadotted midi dress?? It’s one of Primark’s must have pieces of last season, but I didn’t buy it myself. In fact, the awesome Sian sent it over to me after buying it herself on ebay. She didn’t like the way it looked on her but it reminded her of me (yeay!) so she just sent it over as a gift! I’m telling you, bloggers are the coolest people on the planet.
The dress was a bit snug up top and I wanted some more air circulation under my sweaty armpits (haha I’m such a lady) so I just opened the seams a bit and tucked in the sides et voila, more room! I went for pinks to compliment my pink hair. Pink is going to be huge this fall, I’m telling ya.
