Ahhh then I totally agree with your quote. I was unsure of your meaning until you responded. Fashion to my mind is something we participate in every day when we choose what to wear when facing the world. Television, movies, and magazines make it tough to define your own style as they push to tell you what is "hot" or "hip" the best advise I got was from my mom, trends will come and go so feel free to play, but always wear what fits you best, is well made, and compliments your skin tone. So I play when I see a trend that appeals but try not to obsess. How cool is this creative space as we are able to showcase fashion as it appeals to and suits us :) PS I always try and read what someone has posted as if you took the time to write it, I want to give you respect by reading and responding to it!

hey dear, thanks for reading my post! i guess it's just something i've been thinking a lot about lately. i feel we depend too much on what society says is fashion rather than create our own fashion. i think we put a tap on the creativity that's coming within at the expense of following something that is cool at the time.
