I instantly picked up this skirt at American Apparel because of the fabric. I loved the tiny accordion folds that made for such a graceful movement of the skirt with every step. And the vibrant burnt orange color easily meshed with my other falls pieces so I didn’t hesitate on the purchase. The skirt effortlessly makes a statement, so I paired it with a simple black leotard for a perfect silhouette. Adding the vintage inspired jewelry and the vintage accessories created a elegant image of what I would think Audrey Hepburn would wear as she danced the tango. My silly interpretations of life with fashion always seem to amuse me.
