Despite the 100 degree weather and no signs of fall, except the browning grass (burnt from the sun), I decided to wear a sweater! I’m so ready to pull out my fall wardrobe, I mean… “Hello”?! It’s September! My biggest inspiration this season was the Dior ready-to-wear. Their use of color was astonishing with all the deep jewels tones. Plum, marine blue, olive green, and burnt ochre- the perfect fall color palette.
Speaking of Dior, have you heard Marc Jacobs might take the job as designer? I mean, I love Marc Jacobs, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t feel he’s right for the job. Personally, I was not impressed with the Fall 2011 Couture show by Bill Gaytten. It was… a little all over the place with the design flow. Style.com reports, “The sparkles just didn’t fall right” on Karlie Kloss in the finale. LOL. No one can design like Galliano, and I feel Dior will never be the same without him! Vogue Italia wants him back, and I do too!
Ta-taa for now,
Arianna
