Yes, the Carlos Miele Spring/Summer 2012 collection portrayed an aesthetic paradise, but the attendees looked just as blissful. Though not as vivid and bold as the collection, these street stylists managed to look put together and drop-dead fabulous.

FRONT ROW
1. Joanna Hillman – Senior Marketing Fashion Editor for Harper’s Bazaar
Not only does Ms. Hillman from Harpers Bazaar look sharp in her black shades and red lipstick, this gal sure knows how to mix affordable pieces with high end ones! Who would have thought that her blue top was from Zara, and look how it’s perfectly paired with that asymmetrical Alexander Wang skirt.
2. Hamish Bowles – European Editor at Large for Vogue
Let’s not forget the boys! Mr. Bowles nailed the preppy look by wearing a green plaid suit, designed by Dries Van Noten and a pair brown oxford shoes. Though he’s from England, he does look awfully like a modern day Clark Kent, doesn’t he?
3. Robert Verdi – Celebrity Stylist
Even with a tight schedule, Robert Verdi showed up to view the Brazilian’s paradise-like collection in a khaki reflecting blazer and dark denim jeans. A very comfortable relaxed look, but he’s got many shows to go to!

THE ATTENDEES
1. Ariadna – Housewife from Mexico
Ariadna came all the way from Mexico to support a friend who works with the designer, Carlos Miele. Striving for a nautical look with a hint of leopard print, Ariadna sure knows how to represent her country with style.
2. Blaire – Individual Merchandiser, Works for RentTheRunway.com
Literally looking like she just stepped off the runway as one of Carlos Miele’s models, I caught up with Blaire who was on the run for her next engagement. Again with the stripes, but this time paired with that gorgeous cobalt blue jumper. Something we’d like to rent, please!
3. Christina – Fashion Blogger
Blog: Trop Rouge
Does this gal look familiar? She’s one of our Chictopians, TropRouge! Though Christina did not attend the Carlos Miele runway show, I bumped into her at the Lincoln Center as she was on her way to the Rebecca Minkoff show. She’s looking fresh and youthful as ever in all Walter Baker paired with a gold, shimmery Coach handbag.
