I styled this entire outfit around my new rose gold cuff from ASOS; I wanted to wear something that would make it stand out (according to my brother, it makes me look like a gladiator… Riiiight…). Have you ever done that though, where you have one specific thing, even just an accessory, and it will inspire how you’ll put the rest of your outfit together? Sadly, though, when I went out, I had to sacrifice the hat and the deep plum lipstick as the cooler weather has yet to grace us with its presence here in Rome (blech…) It’s still just too hot. But I’m itching to wear some dramatic lippy for a change! It reminds me of flappers, fun, and the Great Gatsby (mixed with a little 1992 grunge…), and I admit, I do get a little thrill from the occasional double-takes I’ll get… Oh yes, people, I really am wearing lipstick that dark!
