If you are an avid thrifter like myself, then you probably know how victorious it feels when you find something you’ve been searching after for a long time. Several months ago, I started lusting after chiffon maxi skirts and I somehow got it in my head that I had to have one in a peachy, neutral tone. While I really try to keep an open mind while thrifting and not search for specific pieces, I do sometimes become fixated on certain styles and keep my eye out for them when shopping. After many months, many thrifting trips and being on the verge of taking the easy way out and buying a peach, chiffon maxi skirt online, I found this glorious treasure of a vintage find for a pittance in comparison of it’s newly made match. Even better, it came as a set with a matching silk, bead and sequin embellished, flapper-esque blouse. Together, it’s a look that’s a bit too granny goes ballroom dancing for my style, but on their own they are two of my favorite, new wardrobe wonders.
