Its finally that time of the year again – yearbook photos! Of course, they never go as planned, but we spend hours trying to look amazing in the morning anyways. So the most common potential problem that we could encounter on photo day is that we have PE (phys. ed) right before our pictures and with my luck I have PE before my pictures every year, BUT NOT THIS YEAR! Yay! Or so I thought. Instead we went to a museum in this terrible heat (it’s about 40 degrees Celsius today) and felt like we just did sports anyways. We did manage to clean up and look somehow good anyways.

But of course, the next problem is the picture itself. Only those few lucky photogenic human beings can get away with gorgeous yearbook pictures, but for the average human like me, something usually goes wrong. Here are (what I think) are the most common types of yearbook pictures gone wrong:
1. “I hate it even though my friends say I look good.”
As alright as your picture looks, there’s always that one thing that you wish you could change about it.
2. “Excuse me? Why are you engaging me in conversation while I’m getting my pictures taken?”
Mr. photographer, please don’t talk to me because I’ve already looked at myself in the mirror right before this and I had my face all set up and everything and now I have to answer your goddamn questions about things you probably don’t even care about.
3. “OMG I LOOK THE MOST NATURALLY GORGEOUS WHEN I LAUGH!”
I always say if you look pretty when you laugh, you’re not really laughing.
4. “I need to sneeze.”
Need I say more?
5. “Wait I’m not ready!”
I thought I was ready but then my lips started quivering.
6. “You’re taking too long and now my lips are tired…”
You passed 3 like a minute ago, please take the picture.
