Well, I’m back from paradise…RIP sunlight!
I’m trying to enjoy my last few days of freedom before starting work on Tuesday – now my Masters at Oxford is over, I’m going back to my old job (in government) on a part-time basis while I complete the notorious LPC course – which is essentially an extortionately priced one-year course which all solicitors must take so they can learn how to fill in a form. Ridiculous, I know.
Anyway, all my clothes are in the laundry now I’m back from my holidays and so this was pretty much all that was left in my wardrobe… I’ve had this blazer for years and I have worn it to death but I can guarantee that every time I wear it someone just has to say ‘hey, did you know you have a hole in your jacket?!’ or ’couldn’t you afford the rest of your jacket?!’ – HILARIOUS.
A few years ago the Texan and I went to China on a scholarship and though I wouldn’t normally buy a knock-off bag, this one was too good to ignore (especially since it was only about 30 quid) – it’s decent enough as a leather bag in its own right, I think. I can’t help feeling, however, like a bit of a charlatan carrying around a fake bag…but then I think why should I pay hundreds for a bag that cost a tenner to make? How do you feel about knock-off bags?
