walk before irene

i looked for “walk before hurricane hits" in the occasion section, but only found “walking the dog” …even tho i don’t have a dog…. but i thought, if i did have a dog, i would wear this outfit.

a lot of things were closed yesterday in nyc, in preparation for hurricane irene. all trains and buses stopped running
it was just drizzling at this point, around 6pm saturday, in brooklyn. felt a little eerie, knowing a storm is coming and seeing everyone prep for it.
anyway, it was a nice walk to have, thinking we maybe stuck indoor today.

it’s not too bad where i’m at now, but i hear the worst of it is still on the way.
we should be ok.
