You’ve seen her walking for Chanel, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Versace, and on blogs Street Peeper and Hanneli who is this girl? She’s Frida Gustavsson—not only is she a stunning top model, but a street style icon.
ALL ABOUT FRIDA
Reportedly the fourth most-requested model in Spring 2010, Frida has made quite a name for herself since humble beginnings in 2008. This year, she won Elle Sweden’s Model of the Year award and graduated from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design, with hopes of someday becoming a fashion stylist.
Find out where you’ve seen Frida at work—from runways to magazines.

» She started the show in a gorgeous flowing dress from a favorite Lanvin collection.

DRESS TO IMPRESS
Get the Gustavsson look! You’ll need…
» a pair of square-heeled pumps
Practical and easy to walk in (or run, as the case may be) when getting from show to show. Frida favors a burgundy pair, we like these…
» a great layering jacket
Whether you choose a trench, a blazer, or a fur-lined bomber, a cute coat is essential for the model off-duty look. It may be Spring on the runway, but it’s cold outside!
» a few pairs of opaque tights
Another Gustavsson staple to keep you warm! Frida’s look is all about casual layers—wear tights under dresses, skirts, and shorts.
» a small handbag
Models on the go don’t have to carry much—their makeup and hair is often styled for them, obviously. A small bag to fit a cell phone, wallet, and ID is all they (and you) really need.
