One thing I love to do is:
-sprawl on my couch in the morning and observe ships leaving snail-like traces in the water
-be perched high above the city at night and watch the highways turn into rivers of gold light
-sit below the sky and gaze at planes as they go past. I wonder where the passengers are headed off to and whether they feel excited/sad to be up in the air. It makes me feel small and hopeful that life is far more than the limited horizon that the naked eye can see.
There is no witty point to this post- I’m feeling rather lethargic. Everyone has new news- she is dating he, he is dating she, she is going to vacation at X,Y and Z.
And I? I am just here in the same state, stature, status. Sorry to be a Scrooge- I promised myself when I started this blog it’d be strictly professional and not some personal diary flooded with feelings (ew). They say that some people wear their heart on their sleeve and I take that at the most literal sense.
Hence the orange.
My eyes pseudo-popped out of my head when I this skirt on Romwe which also doubles as a strapless top. It’s rather feminine so I paired it with the staple grey T-shirt dress to make it more identifiable as a ‘Sam’ outfit.
It may be a horrid thing to say but at times when I feel like life is going nowhere, I use fashion as an escape.
Now excuse me while I go floss before bedtime.
