Girl Around Town

This dress started off its life as a dress I loved to hate. I purchased it online and when it arrived the material was as beautiful as it looked in the photo, but otherwise it was all wrong. It was too baggy, too poorly-shaped and it had this really weird elastic thing around the neck and sleeves. I kept it for the material (and because I’d lost the receipt) but I really regretted wasting the money….Then one day in a crazy mood I took my scissors to this expensive dress. I cut off the neckline and sleeves and added something to shape the middle (a simple black tube top) and…voila! A dress I love and that is uniquely my own!
