summer heat

my attempt to wear something light in order to not sweat in the sunshine failed horribly. probably should’ve just left the house in a bikini while eating frozen fruits (though i suppose after 2 minutes they would no longer be frozen and thus loose their purpose of cooling me). but i feel like summer just goes so well with whites, and then top it off (or bottom it off i guess) with some bright color. these shoes have been gathering dust on my shelf but i re-realized just how awesome they are! and they were only ten dollars.

sad news of the day, i didn’t win the westrags blogger contest. they did tell me i was very very close though! thanks again everyone for voting for me :) hopefully one day my dream will work out! in the meantime, it just pushes me to try even harder, so be prepared for just another fashion blog to become NOT just another fashion blog (metaphorically speaking of course). yes, so excited!
