I have no idea what this type of dress is called. Quasi-overalls 1980s shirt-dress? It buttons up and scoops down low in the front, requiring an undershirt. I found it at the thrift store for $3.

If you live in a big city, it’s best to drive out of town to score cheap vintage. I found this dress at a thrift shop in Burnsville, Minn., which is 30 minutes south of Minneapolis. Definitely worth the drive for $3!
