I need to feel confident today, b/c I may be seeing someone I really need to feel confident around… or maybe not, ‘cause hey, it’s not up to me, people just get to show up whenever they want and… ok venting stops now. but with uncertainty comes lack of confidence, so I tried to dress to counteract such.
the purple skirt is another goodwill find, it was marked down at half price so it was like $3. the nude fishnets (which you really cant see, damn my lack of good camera) I literally just bought last night, i’ve been looking everywhere for some so yay! to that. and my boots… are not 100% comfy but all that really means is I have to take them off to drive.. I drive better barefoot anyways :)
I was working non-freaking stop last week, which meant little or no chance to wear anything interesting (i work at hollister, which is a LOT of fun, but the dress code of such =jeans and a knit top. this is also why i’m never wearing nail polish, we aren’t allowed..)
ahh!! i just realized its december!!! officially christmas season… and it’s 51 degrees outside. as much as I love not being freezing, this is december in new york!! its crazy.
hopefully this week i’ll get to update here more often…
eta: i added a closeup of the picture in the background, it’s my grandfather, his two older sisters, their mother, and various other family members in Ireland when he was a kid.. if i’m not horribly mistaken, he’s the one standing next to the tallest girl (eldest sister, middle sister 2nd from end, their mother to the right of my grandfather). I just think its a neat picture :)
