Strawberry Margarita Bound

One thing I love about SoCal: Mexican food. And you can’t have good Mexican food without margaritas. While I love the regular, on-the-rocks kind, this was a day that I was craving the blended strawberry kind. My friends and I went to one of our fave hole-in-the wall spots, La Barca, which is near the USC campus. The staff knows us there and always gives us a free round of house tequila shots at the end of every meal. Can’t go wrong with La Barca!

Knowing I would probably look and feel bloated after chips & salsa, a taco plate, and at least 2 rounds of drinks, I wore a loose shirt and shorts with an elastic waistband. As Nacho Libre points out, “Sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It’s for fun.” In this case, I wore them in public. And it was fun. Considering how full I was after the meal, it was well worth it!
