The Little Girls I Once Knew

I always like getting approval from my boyfriend on dresses I buy (though his opinion really doesn’t change my decision) and when he shrugs and says ‘eh’ with some remark like ‘it’s too grandma-ish’ I know he isn’t into it. That’s when I wait a few days then go back and actually try it on for him to see if he even remembers the dress (half the time he doesn’t, and ends up loving it in the end). To my surprise he remembered this dress saying ‘that’s the grandma dress’ but admitted it fit nicely, which it does. It’s tight at the bust through the waist and flares out just enough to make it playful, which balances out the ‘grandma-like’ embroidery. I really am an old soul in a young body!
