A lot of bloggers apologize for the lateness of their posts with a one to two week publication delay. I’m going to take it to another level: this look was shot back on March 3.
The outfit has nothing to do with fashion’s Fall/Winter’11 campaigns for jewel tones, color blocking, burgundy and the 70?s. Actually this was my original ‘For Japan’ outfit I wore as a personal expression of sympathy. It later on inspired me to pitch the ‘Wear Red, Wear Hope’ campaign in collaboration with Chictopia which I styled another look for.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any primary red clothes at the time so I opted for the only red items I already had which came in the form of burgundy trousers. An oversized scarf is perfect for the fickle indoor/outdoor weather in Hong Kong which can be worn as a shawl in AC-abusive rooms or simply around the neck when outside.
