Killer Eyes and A Burning Heart Babe

Today was funny, I got called in to work, but it was dead quiet so I had Sonic Youth day at the shop; read David Browne’s biography (brilliant!) and listened to them all day in between serving a couple of customers and gulping down the best Vietnamese food in Brisbane. Tonight I went with some girlfriends to see Baz Luhrman’s new film, ‘Australia’. It is incredible, the whole cast are so moving, scenery exquisite and Catherine Martin is indeed a genius.

I’m wearing navy vintage prom dress, altered to fit, and red floral tasselled scarf, both found at the markets, prairie style embroidered leather belt from my mum, geeky I <3 UQ tote, and white Mollini platform heels.
