Theme song from Mulan that I’ve been humming the past week as blogger events are starting to pick up. I was telling Denise that I feel like a cow of a blogger being herded around with the same HK blogger blogs to the same event for the same designer in the name of the same company. I’m not complaining- I’m just commenting on how limited the design industry really is in this city. I have hopes that Hong Kong will one day overcome its name of being the Cultural Desert and transform itself into a design-driven one where being an artist is not perceived as a lowly career path but one that is equally as noble as the banker in IFC.
