When hitting up theme parks like Disney, most are probably not concerned about their style. But as a Chictopian you are always dressed to impress. Today we’re putting together some outfits that are cute and comfortable for a day reliving your childhood!
Before we get to our theme park attire, first we need to cover the basics you should have with you in your bag.
A WATER BOTTLE: Everything is more expensive while you are in a theme park, including water. And with the summer rays constantly hitting you, hydration is necessary.
SUNSCREEN: With rides like Splash Mountain getting you thoroughly soaked and the raging hot sun upon you outside, you should grab a mini sunscreen to reapply throughout the day. Carry a lip balm with sunscreen as well.
A CAMERA: DSLRs are lovely and take great pictures, but you are going to be running around all day. Take a point and shoot with some extra batteries to document your memories.
A BACKPACK: This. bag will pair with all the outfits below, as well as keeping all your essentials and souvenirs dry.
OUTFIT #1: SAFARI GIRL
Neutral colors paired with army green create a simple and chic color palate. Start off with these utility pants= in a dark green color.
OUTFIT #2: CHILD’S PLAY
While you are at the theme park, you might as well let your inner child loose. Break out your favorite character shirt. Whether it be Minnie, Snoopy, or a superhero just pick your favorite cartoon (or pick according to what park you go to!).
OUTFIT #3: WATERPARK CHIC
Two pieces are cute for when you are lounging around by the beach, but aren’t practical jetting down water slides. To prevent “emergencies” with your suit try a one piece. One pieces can be stylish and practical like this.. retro one or sexy with cutouts like this..
Something that will dry quickly will be useful when you throw your cover up over your wet swimwear. It is also easily stashed away in your bag. A cotton kaftan is perfect for this.
You can forgo the style for your feet and just grab some generic rubber flip flops. You won’t feel bad if you lose these while you are running around the park. Stash a scarf in your bag in case it gets chilly. And of course, don’t forget your towel.
So now you know how to make your trip to the theme park a little more chic. Got any more tips for us? Share them in the comments!
