“That zipper’s pinchin’!” – Kaskade, Fire In Your New Shoes
When I interviewed JeanGreige about her style and lifestyle, this statement from her really struck me:
Fashion is the only art form in which every person is obligated to participate on a daily basis.
This really resonates with me since I believe that fashion is considered live, 3d art forms. Instead of seeing arts trapped by four walls, it’s amazing to see walking forms of art come to life before your very eyes.
And, so, this may lead to the next question: how does one’s style seem so right and natural but may not be so for another? Like any types of art you’re creating, sometimes you just need to go with your flow of creative juices and emotions. Haven’t you wondered how some depressed artists (i.e., Vincent van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo) were so talented? Not to say that you should be depressed – but it’s been said that depression ignites creativity.
Basically, ignite your creativity through fashion. Find your niche and I think your style can also help ignite all of our senses.
